As lovers of orange Dulce and I were super excited when Pantone announced the color of the year for 2012…Tangerine Tango!
Pantone, is the world-renowned authority on color. For more than 45 years, Pantone has been inspiring design professionals with products, services and leading technology for the colorful exploration and expression of creativity. Pantone recently revealed their color of the year for 2012, Tangerine Tango.
Here is a little blurb from their press release.    “Sophisticated but at the same time dramatic and seductive, Tangerine Tango is an orange with a lot of depth to it,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “Reminiscent of the radiant shadings of a sunset, Tangerine Tango marries the vivaciousness and adrenaline rush of red with the friendliness and warmth of yellow, to form a high-visibility, magnetic hue that emanates heat and energy.”We could all use a little heat and energy this time of year, so here is some inspiration for using tangerines to add a pop of color to your life.
